Bachelor of Arts in Communications
Concentation in Journalism
The Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a concentration in Journalism, designed for students who wish to seek professional training in mass media, communication studies and theatre, includes courses in each of the disciplines in the Communications major and offers options in courses like Business, Film, Art and Information Management Systems. Students will take courses in Communication Studies, Journalism and Electronic Media, Public Relations and Theatre. Students will employ critical and creative thinking; be philosophically, technologically and culturally literate, be effective communicators and be appreciative of the visual and performing arts and humanities. Combining the traditional delivery system of face-to-face learning with online instruction, the University is excited to return this degree program to the University Center Greenville campus.
