What:
University Center of Greenville (UCG) will host a FREE informational event for veterans and veterans-serving organizations to learn more about the New Post-9/11 G.I. Bill set to take affect on or after August 1, 2009. This piece of legislature is a new education benefit program for individuals who served on active duty on or after September 11, 2001, with financial support proportional to their length of active duty service. The statewide informational event is being hosted live in Greenville and via video conferencing in Charleston and Columbia. Registration required; see www.ucgreenville.org for details.
