University Center of Greenville Hosts SC State President

Greenville, S.C. (April 29, 2009) – The University Center of Greenville (UCG) recently hosted South Carolina State University’s new President Dr. George E. Cooper at its April Board of Visitors meeting.

Cooper spoke to UCG’s Board members about maintaining academic excellence in the face of depleting financial resources. He is SC State’s 10th President, and previously served in the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
